Police on Horseback Patrol in Hampstead 🐎

Today, Hampstead Town Safer Neigh-bourhoods Team were joined by our colleagues from MPS Mounted Branch on patrol around Hampstead Town.

Their presence provided great visibility and reassurance to the community, helping to deter crime and engage with local residents and visitors. While the Mounted Branch are often seen supporting public order and large events across London, they also play an important role in community policing.

During their visit, local primary and nursery school children had chance to meet the officers and horses, which brought plent of smiles and excitement to their morning!

It was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen community relationships and promote positive engagement with the police.
