Introducing our new Sergeant for Waddon Safer Neighbourhoods Team - Sgt Sara Ginn

As many of you know we previously had Sgt Dave Dickinson who has now moved units. We have now gained a new Sergeant, Sara Ginn. 

'I have proudly served in the Metropolitan Police for 26 years, working across a variety of roles. My career began in Lambeth on an emergency response team, followed by a long and rewarding period with the South East Dog Section, where I spent the majority of my service. Most recently, I’ve worked in recruitment and now look forward to joining the Safer Neighbourhoods Team covering Waddon, Riddlesdown, and Purley Oaks.  My career has given me a broad perspective and a deep appreciation for the many aspects of policing.

I’m no stranger to the area – I grew up in the west of the borough and attended Heath Clark College (for those who remember, it once stood where Old School Place is now). Outside of work, I enjoy walking with my family and our two retired police dogs, who still love being out and about.

I’m excited to be part of the Safer Neighbourhoods Team and look forward to building strong relationships within the community.'
