London Bridge and West Bermondsey SNT carried out some patrols of our estates and park areas on Saturday with PC Joshua Head and PC Kaelon PARKES arresting a shoplifter from the Sainsburys in Bermondsey Square and was also wanted for immigration offences while in St Mary Magdalen Churchyard, PC Kieran Mullin-Smith arrested a male for class A drugs and was also wanted for a recall to prison; he did however give PC Kieran a false name; fortunately PCSO Paul DURRANT was on hand to identify him and also stop him when he tried to make off from officers. On Sunday we did some joint patrols with the British Transport police where on Tooley Street PC Joshua Head arrested a male wanted for failing to appear and also breaching his community protection notice served by ourselves previously. I also took my team to other areas of concern on the ward including Tanner Street Park and gave a drug user a verbal warning, then onto the Creasy Estate, Pages Walk and then St Saviours Estate which PCSO Paul DURRANT did on his own and dealt with two drug users in Thetford House blocks with evidence gained for community protection notice breaches. |
