Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Update

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

This week Reverend Polly of Trinity Church joined our local policing team for a ride-along, getting a first-hand look at officers conducting stop and search affectively. Officers took her to areas where residents raised concerns, showing both the enforcement and safeguarding sides of policing. From tackling drug misuse to supporting vulnerable individuals, it was a powerful insight into how we protect and serve our community.

We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.
