Community Appeal for Information: Dangerous Motorcycle Riding in Lynhurst Area

Here’s a quick update on anti-social behaviour locally. We know it can be distressing, but we’re working closely with partners to make the area safer and support residents.

We have received reports of a motorcycle being ridden at excessive speeds on Lynhurst Crescent, Lynhurst Road, and Ryefield Avenue on a daily basis. It is alleged that the rider is travelling at speeds of up to 60 mph, causing significant concern for local residents, particularly children and families in the area.

The motorcycle is described as a red sports-style bike, and the rider is believed to be a White male, approximately 5'7" tall, who may reside on Lynhurst Crescent.

There are also concerns that a child, believed to be around 11 years old, has been seen riding as a passenger on the motorcycle, potentially placing the child at risk.

If you have any information regarding:

The rider's address
The motorcycle registration number
The identity of the rider
Any relevant CCTV, video footage, or photographs

Please contact me by Met Engage or by replying to this message or emailing C741587@met.police.uk.

All information will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated in helping us keep our community safe.

Across London we’ve put hundreds more officers on the frontlines of community crime-fighting teams, upping visible patrols in the right ‘hot spots’ so we can deter and catch criminals - including with new tech like live facial recognition cameras, drones and e-bikes.

Antisocial behaviour can come in many forms and can require support from more organisations than just the police. A full list of what we categorise as antisocial behaviour is available on our website.

If you have experienced anti-social behaviour or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.met.police.uk or call the non-emergency number 101.
