Abandoned Vehicle Seizure Operation, Edgar Road, TW4

Heathfield Ward Neighbourhood Policing Team helped seize and remove 12 abandoned vehicles today, as part of a joint operation with Richmond Council and Richmond Housing Partnership on the Hounslow Heath Estate.  

Together we responded to numerous complaints from local residents about many abandoned cars and commercial vehicles which had been parked around the estate for a number of months and in some cases, years.  Not only did these vehicles occupy precious parking spaces, they were an eyesore and a health risk.

The vehicles were removed and will be crushed over the next few days.
