Crime Update

Good afternoon all.

I trust you have seen the Met's new communications network (Met Emgage). If you have, you would have seen some updates from me today. Please sign up to this new initiative if you haven't already done so. I'll still be updating on what's up regardelss. 

On our patrols today, we didn't come across any beggars or homeless persons sleeping in tents outside of the station which is good news. 

On another positive note, I've been looking at the reported crimes since the start of the week, and there have been zero residential burglaries or street robberies. So in essence, street robberies have become non-existent within South Richmond as there have been non reported since the start of the year. There haven't been any residential burglaries reported for over a month now, which is positive news too.

The team and I will continue with our efforts to provide High Visibilty Patrols in the areas affected most by burglaries in order to reduce this type of crime. I'll continue to be the point of contact for all residential burglaries with regular updates provided.
