Theft of Pedal Cycle

Dear Resident,

 

The incident occurred on Wednesday 28/05/2025 between 07:00 hours to 16:00 hours, victim locked their Red CARRERA

VANGUAD bike with padlock to bike rack outside New Malden train station, when they returned their bike had been stolen by unknown offender.

 

If you have any CCTV footage or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref: 01/7549581/25

 

Your Local Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding a FREE bike marking event.

 

Date/Time: On Thursday 5th June 2025 between 3pm and 4:30pm

Location: Bike stands O/S Lidl Store 31-35 Blagdon Rd, New Malden KT3 4AH

 

Please come along with your bike to this popular event. Local officers will enter your bike details on the national Bike Register system and security mark it for free!

 

Not only acting as a deterrent to possible theft, if your bike is lost or stolen it will greatly increase the chances of getting it back to you. We will also be offering crime prevention advice and happy to listen to your concerns or thoughts about what you feel police should be focusing on in our area.
