Welcome to Met Engage

Firstly I would like to introduce myself, as of two weeks ago I became the Acting Inspector for the Acton safer neighbourhood's teams, having been the ward sergeant for North and South Acton (previously Acton Central) since 2017. As such I am invested in making Acton feel safer for all who live, work and study, something those in the community I have worked with with verify.

I would like to thank you all of your for signing up and being a part of the new Met Engage platform. The Met has invested a great deal of time and effort to identify the best product, which has the capability to deliver what we, and the local community need.

We are still in the early days, with the platform launching only yesterday, therefore we are working on signing up as many people as possible, as a result messaging may be less frequent while we focus on this task. Please help us by spreading the word and encouraging all of those you know to sign up!

Please remember that this is a two way platform, not just designed for us to talk at you, but for you to tell us the issues which are having a detrimental effect on you, or the local community. Please don't assume we already know about an issue, we rely on information from the public, not just so we know what the issues effecting the community are, but details such as who, what, where and when so that we can target our resources effectively. 

I will sign off by saying I look forward to the community working in partnership with the neighbourhood policing teams, and truly believe we can contribute to making Acton feel safer.
