Local Priorities Violent crime Message

I wanted to provide you an update regarding Violent crime, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Another successful day using Live Facial Recognition technology in Kingston town centre. This technology helps keep Londoners safe, and will be used to find people who threaten or cause harm, those who are wanted, or have outstanding arrest warrants issued by the court. 5 individuals arrested for offences ranging from possession of indecent images to theft and going equipped to steal.
