Local Priorities Anti Social Behaviour Update

Please review the following update regarding Anti Social Behaviour which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

11th July 2025 PC SARIRENI, PC RAMIREZ and PC ROWE met with the neighbourhood coordinator from WCC at Henderson Drive at the Wharncliffe gardens estates where there has been a male who has set up camp under the Hucknall court/Helsby court connection and has been a cause for numerous calls to the police and the council regarding ASB. The male was served with a CPW on the 25th of June 2025 regarding his actions and because there was no change he has now been issued a CPN time period of 3 months. He is in connection with Brent they are looking to house him there. Officers discussed other matters raised by residents regarding gating the estate and also hostile flooring and the coordinator stated they will raise this with their higher ups.

Officers walked around the estate did some visits regarding other problem areas and visited one specific flat which has been problematic as of late and all information logged on the ongoing investigations.

They also addressed doing some burglary and robbery patrols around the problem areas like Carlton Hill and they will be looking at addressing these and how to tackle the ongoing matters on the dates they have chosen to focus on each area.

Antisocial behaviour can come in many forms and can require support from more organisations than just the police. There are 13 different types of antisocial behaviour that we may be able to help with, including abandoned vehicles, littering or drugs paraphernalia and street drinking. A full list of what we categorise as antisocial behaviour is available on our website.

If you have witnessed or experienced antisocial behaviour, you can report it online.

If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.met.police.uk/, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101.

Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org
