Good News - Police Helicopter Assists in High Speed Pursuit

Good afternoon all, 

I just wanted to share some good news and also to reassure you if you heard our Police Helicopter flying low on Tuesday night, as we had high speed pursuit reaching speeds of 100mph on residential streets through Islington, Camden and into the West End in Westminster. 

The driver abandoned the vehicle and attempted to hide in residential gardens. Police Officers were guided in by support from the Police Helicopter, the suspect broke out and made off again but Police units continued to be guided in and the driver was detained and arrested!

Excellent joint working between your local officers and the National Police Air Service keeping the streets of London safe.,
