Proactive work from Yiewsley & West Drayton SNT

On the 11th of July, Yiewsley & West Drayton officers were conducting proactive patrols in the area. Whilst on the patrol officers spotted a male on his phone whilst driving.

Officers stopped the male and questioned him in regards to that, whilst conducting checks on the vehicle it turned out the driver did not obtain proper insurance for his commute. Unless you have 'commuting' on your policy you are not covered for travelling to/from a place of work. If you don't have 'for business purposes' then you cannot drive to customer meetings or use it for work travel. You would be considered to be under-insured and may well void your policy doing so
