Local Priorities Violent crime Message

I wanted to provide you an update regarding Violent crime, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

This week PC Campbell from Chaucer SNT/ safer schools arrested two separate individuals who had failed to appear for their scheduled court appearances. Both suspects were located and taken into custody.

Failing to attend court is a serious matter — not only does it show a disregard for the justice system, but it also leads to further legal consequences, including arrest warrants and potential penalties.

These arrests serve as a reminder that:
Court appearances are not optional
Ignoring them won’t make them go away
We will take action to ensure the law is upheld

I’d like to thank members of the public who continue to share information and support our efforts to keep the community safe and accountable.

As always, if you have concerns or information that could help us, you can report it via 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppe
