Fraudulent Accident Claims

Good Morning,

We have been made aware of an incident recently by a resident, but also appears to be happening quite often in the local area, of an Insurance Scam whereby offenders use motorbikes and purposely drive into drivers to cause a minor collision and then claim on the insurance. In a recent incident the resident was hit by the moped rider who appeared to purposely drive into them however when a member of the public, separate from the incident, intervened the moped rider quickly left the scene. This incident happened just on our border of Dulwich.
