Leytonstone Police Weekly Update

Hello Leytonstone Resident,

This week YOUR local police have been around the Greenman Roundabout conducting searches due to reports of drug use in the bushes. One male arrested for being wanted for a number of months for a previous matter. The council are also sending cleaning teams to the area

We also helped FOREST officers conduct patrols in JACK CORNWELL PARK and again a number of searches were conducted and a male was arrested for being wanted for a shoplifting at one of our local stores as well as being wanted for a return to prison and a failure to attend a separate court case

We also found a woman smoking cocaine at the roadside on WALLWOOD and she was arrested for possession of illegal substances 

We were also on the look out for someone we knew might be in the area who was also wanted and a short time later whilst enjoying the sun he decided to come and speak to us….he was arrested for failing to attend court in relation to a previous matter

We have issued a number of anti-social behaviour warnings after drug searches
