Stolen Vehicle Found on Cranham Ward

On Friday 18th July, local police officers on patrol came across a vehicle with visible minor damage to the rear boot, parked on Sunnycroft Gardens.

Upon further inspection and enquiries, the vehicle was confirmed to be stolen. The registered owner was contacted, and arrangements were made to safely recover the vehicle.

Thanks to proactive policing and local vigilance, this stolen vehicle is now back with its rightful owner.

We want to take this opportunity to remind residents about steps you can take to help prevent vehicle crime:

πŸ”’ Vehicle Crime Prevention Tips:

Lock it or lose it – Always lock your car, even when parked at home or for a short time.

Remove valuables – Don’t leave items like bags, electronics, or tools inside your vehicle, especially in view.

Secure your keys – Keep vehicle keys, including keyless fobs, away from doors and windows at home.

Use deterrents – Steering wheel locks, gear locks, and car alarms are strong visible deterrents.

Install tracking devices – Consider using a tracker to help recover your vehicle if it is stolen.
