Test purchasing/licensing operation in Kingston borough today

Safer neighbourhood officers along with Kingston Schools officers and Kingston cadets (under 18) attended twelve licensed premised stores in New Malden and Tolworth today. Some of the stores had previously failed licensing checks by selling alcohol to underage youths and on this occasion one store resold. Another two stores also sold. All three stores will were issued penalty notices and will be subsequently reported to RBK Licensing and Trading standards to be dealt with appropriately.
