Neighbourhood Watch

Are you a Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator? Let’s get you set up!

 Dear residents,

For those who is registered to neighborhood watch Thank you for being part of Neighbourhood Watch! You're currently registered as a member/supporter which is fantastic – every member plays a valuable role in building stronger, safer communities.

However, if you are also acting as a Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator, we’d love to make sure you’re set up properly in our system so your volunteering is recognised and you receive all the relevant updates, resources, and support.

To do this, you’ll need to register your scheme on our system by following these simple steps:

  • Sign into your account – https://members.metengage.co.uk
  • Go to Neighbourhood Watch Tools on the top menu
  • Select Manage Schemes
  • Click Apply to start a new scheme
  • Fill in the form, map your scheme, and submit it

We know that for some of you, you may have been a Coordinator for a number of years or just recently decided to start one in your area.  You may have previously been registered on OWL or just set one up on your own.  Registering your scheme ensures your efforts are visible and helps us better support you in your role.

What happens next?

Your local volunteer Membership Support Administrator (MSA) will get in touch with you and get your scheme approved on the system. This is usually within 15 working days, but if you haven’t heard anything, please do contactenquiries@ourwatch.org.uk.

Benefits of registering your scheme

Once your scheme is registered, your status on the system will change to Min Coordinator and you will be able to:

  • Add your members and invite new members to join
  • Your scheme will show on our website and new members will be able to join
  • Message your members in a GDPR compliant way
  • Manage your scheme
  • Receive our Volunteer News newsletters and messages
  • Be invited to volunteer events and receive extra benefits
  • Join the Knowledge Hub – a bespoke volunteer platform
  • Recognised as a Coordinator
  • Local police can get in touch with you in yur role as a Coordinator

If you're not a Coordinator – no problem at all! We're so pleased to have you involved as a member/supporter. But if you are, let’s get you connected and your scheme noticed — your work truly matters, and we want to make sure it counts.

If you have any questions or would like support with the process, feel free to get in touch.

Warm wishes,
