Local Priorities Violent crime Update

I wanted to provide you an update regarding Violent crime, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Officers from the Town Centre Team conducted hotspot patrols on Camden High Street last night, during the course of the night they were called to Inverness Street for a male causing a disturbance. In the course of dealing with him the male has assaulted two of our officers and has subsequently arrested for assaulting an emergency worker.

Fortunately both of our officers were uninjured and the male is currently sitting in a cell contemplating his actions.

 We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years, and we want to make sure you have had the chance to have your say.
