Local Priorities Violence against women and girls Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Ina wake up call against the raised number of the violence against women and girls Hackney Central SNT had taken the initiative to engage with members of the community, to try and address these topic. on the 28th July 2025 at Hackney Central station we handed out leaflets with information lead as well as the opportunity to sign post individuals and provide advice. We engaged with over 80 individuals.

 We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years, and we want to make sure you have had the chance to have your say. The consultation paper is available online, as well as a survey to let us know what you think. This closes on the 15 September.
