Front Counters Project

Borough Commander Marco Bardetti met with several local community groups to discuss the potential closure of Edmonton and Tottenham Police station front counter. Some difficult decisions are being made around the closure of some Police Station front counters across London.

The purpose of the engagement was to hear directly from community representatives about their concerns, ideas, and expectations. There were open and constructive conversations about how these changes might affect access to policing services, and, how the impact can be minimised. 

The valuable feedback played a key role in shaping our approach moving forward.  The MPS is committed to ensuring that any decisions made are informed by the voices of the communities we serve.
