This week, Selhurst SNT attended various events, meetings and did proactive patrols that help on the objective for a better and more connected community as we get in contact with various agencies and businesses whilst assuring safety. We would like to highlight some of the events that we took part and also the crime prevention actions we did. We attended the Ward Panel Meeting along Councillors Mohammed and Catherine and Ward Panel Head Sajad where we heard the concerns from the residents regarding fly-tipping on their streets such as Tugela Road and we discussed the ward priorities as Police where our main goal is to tackle Drugs and Violent-Crime which will cause a positive impact towards reducing Anti-Social behaviour. We were tasked to attend to a crime-scene along Transport Police and Road Maintenance at Norbury, London Road to reinforce a Police Cordoned Area and provide passer-byes with direction and also traffic control. We attended Babyzone on Legacy Centre at Bolougne Road where we engaged with attendees and shared with them different crime prevention and ways to report crime. We also brought in a Police Van so families could take pictures along us and their kids so they got to know their local SNT. We did a Cuppa with a Cupper day at Michael's Cafe in Selhurst Road, providing residents the chance to come and have a chat with their local SNT and share their concerns to get advice from the Police. And lastly we have done various proactive patrols on High ASB impacted areas such as Sydenham Road and Whitehorse Road, and also other roads that have come to our attention due to drugs activities at Grenaby Avenue, Neville Road, and Princess Road, We have also kept a high visible presence at Queen's Road Cemetery, Whitehorse Road Recreation Grounds and King George's Field Playground to help on crime deterrent and other roads on the ward. We appreciate the continuous support from our community and the various agencies and businesses that continue to work along us.
Please report any crime on 101 on the mobile or online at Report a crime | Metropolitan Police, and if you find yourself or someone else at immediate risk or danger please contact the police on 999.
Kind regards,
Selhurst SNT.
