Next week is the start of White Ribbon 16 Days of Action - Stand up to violence against Women and Girls. The event starts on 25th November 2025 and runs through to the 10th December 2025.

White Ribbon Day is an international day dedicated to ending violence against women and girls. It marks the start of the 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence. The campaign's core message is to encourage men and boys to become allies by making a pledge to end violence against women, which includes never excusing it and taking action to change harmful attitudes and behaviours.

The Stratford Town Centre Policing Team will be launching the event in Stratford Mall, In the centre of the Mall at 11am, with a short presentation and community discussion focused on Men and boys identifying their own behaviours and how to speak up when they see inappropriate behaviour towards women and girls.

Please come along, especially if you are Male and work in the local area.
