Chislehurst, Mottingham and Bickley and Sundridge SNT were completing mobile patrols in Chislehurst when a vehicle was seen driving at speed. Officers signalled for the vehicle to stop. Despite this, the vehicle failed to stop for police. Whilst officers were completing an area search the driver was seen running away from the vehicle. Officers perused the driver on foot where he was then detained. The driver was subsequently arrested for failing to stop for police, possession of points and blades, possession of class A, Taking a motor vehicle without consent, no insurance and driving not in accordance with a licence.
