Result - Lesnes Abbey Woods Walk and Talk

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

We would like to thank everyone who attended our Walk and Talk in Lesnes Abbey Woods yesterday, on Monday 8th December 2025. Local officers, council staff and a representative from London Fire Brigade were in attendance and spoke to many women present about their concerns regarding the woods and surrounding areas. Some great conversations were had with those in attendance and, where appropriate, intelligence reports have been created from the information we received.

We look forward to engaging more with the community further in future events, and encourage any feedback or suggestions that you may have regarding this matter.
