“Drug Driver with NO license or insurance Arrested!

On Thursday the 11th of December officers were on proactive patrol in the Rayners Lane area dealing with an incident when their attention was drawn to a vehicle being driven down the road, the vehicle appeared to notice police and turn onto a side road. 

Officer located the vehicle and spoke with the driver who gave false details. Officers quickly ascertained his true identity and that he was a provisional license holder and without insurance. Officers then searched the driver and found cannabis as well as conducting a drug swipe on the driver which he failed. 

As a result the driver was arrested for driving whilst unfit through drugs and reported to court for driving without insurance and not in accordance with his license. He was given a penalty notice for disorder for the cannabis and the vehicle was seized.
