Police investigating baggage thefts around train stations.

We know there are a number of people who have been the victims of distraction thefts in and around King’s Cross and St Pancras Stations. Criminals attempt to distract members of the public coming in and out of the station and those booking their rides back home, in order to steal baggage or personal items. 

Our officers are working hard alongside officers from British Transport Police to bring those responsible to justice. While we investigate this, our officers are out and about conducting high visibility patrols to deter criminals and raise awareness. 

Please be aware of your surroundings and do not leave your luggage unattended while you are travelling.
