Dear Residents, ✅ Neighbourhood Update – Looking Back & Ahead ✅ As 2025 draws to a close, we wanted to share some highlights of the work your local Neighbourhood Officers have been doing to keep our community safe. 👥 Listening to Residents We worked closely with Rothbury Walk Estate to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB). After consulting with residents, we secured a Closure Order for communal corridors and stairwells—giving officers the legal powers to act against loitering and ASB. The results? Reported ASB has dropped, and residents tell us they feel safer. The council also upgraded locks to help keep these spaces secure. 🚔 Targeted Enforcement Our team executed multiple search warrants based on intelligence from patrols, CCTV, and community input. This led to arrests and the seizure of drugs, weapons, and cash—disrupting organised crime and drug supply. We’ve worked with partners from the National Crime Agency to local outreach services to tackle both crime and its root causes. 📊 Smarter Patrols Using data analysis, we’ve made patrols more targeted. Your information is vital—please keep sharing concerns so we can respond effectively. 🤝 Working Together Through the ‘Clear, Hold, Build’ initiative, we meet regularly with the council to address emerging issues and strengthen community safety. 🔍 Ward Panel Priorities for 2026: 1️⃣ Violence on High Road (Roebuck Close to Park Lane) 2️⃣ Robberies near Northumberland Park Station 3️⃣ Reducing ASB on SALB Estate (drugs and drinking) We also have active closure orders in Altair Close and Stellar House and will continue working with partners on enforcement, support services, and crime prevention strategies like ‘designing out crime’. 🎄 Finally, I’d like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas! Thank you for your continued support. Together, we can make a positive difference in our community in the year ahead. Best wishes Inspector Tom Hassan
