Police Patrol Update

Local Policing Update – Holloway Road & High Road Leytonstone

Last night, our team were out on hotspot patrols when officers spotted two males loitering on Holloway Road. On seeing police, both attempted to walk away quickly. Officers stopped the pair to establish what was happening. Both appeared to be under the influence of drugs and were searched. One male was found in possession of cannabis and was issued with a Community Resolution along with strong words of advice.

Today, while patrolling Leytonstone High Road, officers noticed a male acting suspiciously outside a local shop. The male entered the store, and officers observed him removing items from the shelves. When he exited, officers detained him and conducted a search. Hidden inside his jacket were 22 bottles of shampoo. The male was arrested for shoplifting and the stolen items were returned to the store.
