Successful Bike marking & community engagement event -Bow East SNT

Good afternoon, 
BOW EAST SNT  successfully  Conducted a bike marking event and handed out NMPR / Immobilise phone register leaflets  yesterday as part of the County Lines Intensification week.

We held the event at on Fish Island between 1100-1200 in Rookwood Way, Fish Island  a common route for cyclists coming from and going to the Olympic Park and also for pedestrians who live in the area and traveling to the many cafes and attractions in the local area.

The bike marking had a lot of interest with many people stopping to speak to the PSCO’s about bike security and one bike was marked using the scheme with  few bike locks handed out to bike owners.

A Huge thank you to all who attended to discuss the issues they have. Our officers interacted with the residents, advise has been given also later on  patrolled the area.
