Clock House Ward Panel Meeting

Good Evening Resident

Residents, police and councillors attended the quarterly ward panel meeting yesterday. The meeting is a chance for the community to meet the local police team and councillors to discuss what is happening on the ward and get updates. It is also the chance for any priorities to be set for the local team to try and focus on particular issues.

The focus points for the next quarter the police will be working on based on local issues are: 

Speeding – This will be completed by arranging operations to detect speeding vehicles across the ward. We have some of these planned which will be occurring over the coming weeks.

Vehicle Crime – This will be completed by providing reassurance and crime prevention advice to people, and having continued work around theft of/from motor vehicle. 

Shoplifting – This will be completed by working alongside shops and local teams to prevent, and investigate local shoplifting incidents.
