Dear Resident,
The Metropolitan Police have received several complaints from residents regarding the smell of cannabis within the building. It has been reported that cannabis smoke is travelling throughout the block and affecting multiple flats.
We would like to remind residents that the use and possession of cannabis is illegal in the United Kingdom under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. Cannabis is classified as a Class B controlled drug, and possession or use is a criminal offence.
Smoking cannabis within your property can also cause nuisance to other residents, particularly when the smell spreads through shared ventilation, corridors, or neighbouring flats.
We ask that anyone currently smoking cannabis within their home cease doing so immediately. Continued reports of cannabis use within the building may result in further action being taken.
We appreciate the cooperation of all residents in helping to maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone living within Pimlico South.
Thank you for your understanding.
