A Successful VAWG Event!

On Saturday 19 April 2026, our team ran a Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and Crime Prevention stand at Acton Green / Turnham Green Station between 12pm and 2pm 👮‍♀️👮‍♂️.

The stand was well attended, with many local residents and commuters stopping to speak with officers and staff about personal safety, crime prevention, and the support available for those affected by VAWG 🛑💬. These conversations created a valuable opportunity to listen to community concerns, offer reassurance, and share practical safety advice for public spaces 🚶‍♀️🔐.

Visitors were able to pick up crime‑prevention literature 📄, learn more about local and national support services 🤝, and ask questions in a relaxed and approachable environment. The engagement reinforced the importance of visible community outreach and our ongoing commitment to making public spaces safer for everyone 🌍✨.

We would like to thank everyone who stopped to engage with us, as well as colleagues who supported the event 👏. The positive feedback received highlights the value of continuing focused engagement around VAWG and community safety 💜.
