Well, not an actual raccoon, but someone is dumping rubbish, car bonnet and mystery bags where they definitely don’t belong.

If you spot rubbish dumped on pavements, grass verges, alleyways or parks, here’s how to help get it sorted quickly 👇

✅ How to report it

Fly‑tipping should be reported to Hillingdon Council (not the police unless there’s danger or serious obstruction).
You can report it online or by phone via the council’s fly‑tipping service.

📝 What to report (the more detail, the better!)

📍 Exact location (postcode if possible)

🕒 When you noticed it (or when it happened, if you saw it)

🗑️ What’s been dumped (sofa, bags, builder’s waste, fridge, etc.)

🚚 Vehicles involved (number plates, colour, logos – only if safe)

📸 Photos if you can take them safely

💡 Helpful tips

Please don’t move the waste yourself — it can contain hazardous items

If you see fly‑tipping in progress, don’t confront anyone

Legitimate collectors should give you a waste transfer note — no note often means illegal dumping

Reporting helps the council identify hotspots and take enforcement action
