Good evevning All,
Today, Herne Hill SNT officers were positioned outside the train station on Railton Road, SE24, with the aim of deterring anti-social behaviour (ASB) and addressing any crime taking place in and around the square.
Throughout the day, officers dealt with a number of individuals consuming alcohol in public. Several tickets were issued, and alcohol was seized. Public space protection orders (PSPO) signs are clearly displayed across Lambeth, highlighting that public drinking is restricted.
We also engaged with a number of cyclists, providing warnings to those riding through the station underpass.
Officers also received intelligence reports from the community relating to ASB. These intelligence reports is vital and will support officers in taking targeted action and developing plans to tackle ongoing ASB in the area. Please continue to submit these reports to us, as they play a key role in helping us respond effectively.
Please continue to reach out and share any concerns you may have. We remain committed to working with partner agencies to explore solutions and make our community a safer place for everyone. Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop and speak with us and share your concerns. Your input is important and helps us better understand the issues affecting the community.
Kind regards, PC Sakuna JIAMSUNTIA3186AS
