Recent Burglaries |

Good morning Queensbury residents,
Just to make you aware that there have been Three residential burglaries between the 10th -11th May 2026. These have all occurred between 2200 - 0700 hours.
It is important that you continue to report anything suspicious or any incidents directly to us, either via www.met.police.uk , via 101 or in an emergency calling 999
Please also consider the below tips :
consider a CCTV camera if you can, some can be combined with your doorbell. Double lock your door and windows when you leave the house and at night. consider motion sensor outdoor lights, which light up if movement is detected. move garden furniture or bins away from windows so that thieves cannot use them to gain access. If your windows open outwards, use a key operated lock – check these are locked before leaving the house. Keep handbags and keys away from letterboxes In the evening shut the curtains Set your burglar alarm if you have one Lock your shed or garage
