Community Engagement – Finsbury Park Ward Safer Neighbourhood Team |
||
|
Today, officers from the Finsbury Park Ward Safer Neighbourhood Team attended a community event hosted by The London New Life Seventh-day Adventist Church at Lennox Road, N4. Local residents and members of the church attended the event, providing an opportunity for officers to engage directly with the community and discuss ongoing local issues. Officers actively listened to residents' concerns and provided information regarding current policing activity in the area. Residents were encouraged to attend future community engagement events, such as Cuppa with a Copper, Street Briefing, Community Walk, Talk and Do, where they can meet officers in person, raise concerns, and share their views. Feedback and suggestions received during these events help inform policing strategies and support efforts to address local problems effectively. The public is reminded that drug-related activity and criminal behaviour should be reported to the police via 101, or 999 if a crime is in progress or there is an immediate risk to safety. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Reports of rough sleeping can be made through StreetLink, enabling outreach services to engage with vulnerable individuals and provide appropriate support. Where possible, residents are encouraged to provide details of specific locations, dates, times, and descriptions of incidents. This information assists partner agencies in building an accurate picture of local issues and determining the most appropriate response. | ||
