Local Priorities Violence against women and girls Update

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

On Tuesday 7th July Officers on patrol of Camden High Street were alerted by Community Safety Enforcement Officers to a male who had been witnessed following women and taking photos at a distance of their buttocks, he was arrested at the scene and his mobile device was seized.

Following an interview he has been bailed with conditions not to be in possession of any device that has a camera or recording function while further enquires are conducted.
