Bexley Nepalese Community 3D's takeover at Danson ParkRun

PC Savage-Knight and PCSO Demi James attended the fun and festivities at Danson Park this morning as the Bexley Nepalese Community held their annual 3D's event - Drinks, Drumming and Dance in conjunction with the ParkRun.

Everyone there appreciated the drumming as they passed through on their laps motivating them for some Personal Best times. Water and a supply of fresh fruit was much appreciated by the runners on the hot day. Thank you very much Bexley Nepalese Community for your  generosity.

It is great to see communities coming together and celebrating each others cultures in such a positive way.  The whole structure of ParkRun is one of societies success stories for this - and its an international one. Last week we even had a ParkRun visitor from Australia running, and often have visitors from other parts of London and the UK visiting.
