Speed Watch Activity with Volunteer Police Cadets

Police Officers teamed up with our Volunteer Police Cadets to carry out a speed watch operation in on Court Road on Monday 20th July 2026 for vehicles travelling northbound towards Orpington.

Using a speed detection device, cadets assisted officers in monitoring vehicle speeds at the location. Vehicles found to be travelling above the speed limit were recorded and, where appropriate, advisory letters will be sent to the registered keepers. These letters are intended to educate and encourage safer driving habits, helping to improve road safety for everyone who lives, works and travels in the area.
