Good Afternoon,

Last week, officers assisted the Town Centre Team by taking part in a Live Facial Recognition operation on High Road, Ilford During the operation PC Marchant arrested a male wanted in connection with two robberies that took place in Westminster, London. One of the robberies involved the theft of a Richard Millie watch valued at approximately £250,000.

This was a good example of how technology available to the Metropolitan Police can be used alongside proactive policing to identify wanted individuals and support investigations.
