EmpowHER! A community event - Riverside Youth Club 29/10/26

EmpowHER!

Lewisham Safer Communities is delighted to invite girls and young women aged 13–18 to a FREE day of empowerment, inspiration and celebration at Riverside Youth Club on Thursday 29 October 2026, from 12:00pm to 5:30pm.

Designed with a particular focus on the experiences of ethnically diverse girls, while warmly welcoming all young women, EmpowHER will offer a range of engaging workshops, interactive activities and meaningful discussions. Together, participants will explore themes including confidence, identity, culture, sisterhood, personal safety and healthy relationships.

This is a positive, inclusive and supportive space where young women can connect with others, share their perspectives, build new skills and celebrate their unique strengths. The event aims to empower participants, amplify their voices and encourage a strong sense of belonging and community.

Places are limited, and advance booking via Eventbrite is essential to secure a space.
