Here’s an update on burglary locally. On Wednesday 21st October 2026 at around 04:06AM four males approached an address along Tate Road, Sutton, SM1 2SY all dressed in black clothing and balaclavas. One male had a tuft of hair sticking out the rear of his mask and appeared to be a young male looked through the door of the address on Tate Road, Sutton believed looking for items to steal, likely to steal car keys to a vehicle parked on the drive. The home owner managed to scare the four males off without taking any items. Across London, we’re now arresting more than 1,000 extra criminals every month and seeing local crimes like burglary, robbery and theft start to fall, with ‘neighbourhood crime’ down 14%.
