Mobile phone thefts

Mobile phone thefts

Good morning Queensbury residents,

We have had some mobile phone theft reports over the last week, please find below some advice as to how to try to keep your property and yourself safe while travelling out and about.

Be alert to your surroundings and who is nearby especially people on bikes or mopeds

Try to avoid walking whilst looking down at your phone

Avoid putting your phone in your back pocket, keep it inside an inner pocket or in a bag in front of you.

If you do need to use your phone, try to stand somewhere, where someone cannot walk up behind you

Kind Regards

PCSO Hannah Clark
