Cazenove Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Violence Against a Person Issued 24 September 2025	High Visibility Patrols to increase presence around higher footfall areas. Focussed patrols particularly around the safety of women and girls Officers will arrange regular "Walk and Talk" sessions and drop-in sessions for residents across the Ward, encouraging those to come speak with officers and partners. Officers will continue to work closely with the Council to provide outreach services and Community Safety Talks. Actioned 24 January 2025
Burglary Issued 24 September 2025	Officers will be directed to complete targetted patrols of hotspot areas, acting as a visible deterrent to burglaries. Officers are deployed to speak with residential and business premises about enhancing security features to help support the reduction in burglaries, offering practical advice and support. We will continue to work in partnership with investigation teams to support the identifcation of offenders, gathering evidence and intelligence to support investigations. Actioned 24 January 2026
Phone / Theft Snatches Issued 24 September 2025	Officers will conduct high visibility and plain clothed operations, adjusting their shifts to accommodate presence during peak offending times. Patrols will be varied through foot and cycle patrols in order to get to harder to reach locations with ease Phone marking events to be regularly done on the ward to assist with recovery of property Joint patrols with Hackney Enforcement Officers Safe corridor patrols around A10 and namely Cazenove to Upper Clapton Road during school times.
