Local Priority Issues

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Involve licenced premises in making night time economy areas safer for women and girls Issued 20 November 2025	High visibility patrols to be conducted in vulnerable locations, including Hoxton Station and Canal Path. Licenced premises engagement, crime prevention advice, signs of spiking, Ask Angela campaign. Covert patrols allowing officers to identify predatory behaviours. Monthly VAWG activities to include walk and talk's and VAWG pop up events providing crime prevention advice and materials. Actioned 20 February 2026
