This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.

Weavers Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:

Offences are concentrated in high-footfall areas, transport routes, commercial locations and public open spaces. ASB Persistent reports of anti-social behaviour within Weavers Ward are causing concern amongst residents, businesses, visitors, and partner agencies. ASB is impacting community confidence, increasing the fear of crime, and reducing the quality of life within key public spaces and residential areas. Issued 22 July 2026	Conduct targeted patrols in identified hotspots. Deploy officers during peak ASB periods. Increase visibility around parks, estates and communal areas. Engage and challenge individuals responsible for ASB. Actioned 22 October 2026
Drugs Reports and intelligence indicate ongoing drug-related activity within Weavers Ward, including suspected drug dealing, drug use, drug paraphernalia in public spaces, and associated anti-social behaviour. These issues are affecting community confidence, public safety, and the quality of life for residents and businesses. Issued 22 July 2026	High-visibility patrols at identified hotspots.
