Haverstock
Welcome to Met Engage,
We're transforming the Met to become a service that truly delivers for you.
Through our new platform Met Engage you can get to know your local officers, help shape how we police your local area and have direct access to key information and advice.
This isn't just a platform for us to tell you what we're doing in your area, it's an opportunity for you to tell us what's concerning you most so we can take action on the things that truly matter to you.
Haverstock Safer Neighbourhoods Team
Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.
To contact to your team about local policing issues, email us at Haverstock@contact.metengage.co.uk or pick an officer to email below. (Please do not use this contact method to report crime, in an emergency always call 999 or you can report crime online at www.met.police.uk or dial 101).

Local Priority Issues
We are committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local communities. Based on our conversations with residents, and the issues they have raised with us, our main priorities are:
| Priority | Action taken |
|---|---|
|
There have been reports of drug use, drug dealing, and associated anti‑social behaviour occurring in the vicinity of Eton Road, Eton College Road, and Provost Road, NW3. Issued 01 March 2026 |
The area has seen regular high‑visibility patrols, supplemented by unmarked proactive units and partnership work with the Local Authority. These intelligence driven operations have resulted in multiple stop and searches, the issuing of formal ASB warnings, and the arrest of a local male for drug‑supply offences. These measures form part of an ongoing, coordinated strategy to improve community safety and address serious criminality. Actioned 01 June 2026 |
|
Residents and local businesses have raised concerns about ongoing anti‑social behaviour, drug use, and drug dealing in and around Queens Crescent. Issued 01 March 2026 |
Your local policing team remains committed to tackling ASB through regular high‑visibility patrols. Officers have identified offenders, issued formal enforcement warnings, and arrested a number of wanted individuals during these operations. This proactive work will continue, supported by close partnership with the local authority and other agencies to ensure an effective and coordinated response to community issues. Actioned 01 June 2026 |
|
This priority has been established following a recent rise in theft‑related reports in Chalk Farm, with shoplifting being the primary concern. Furthermore, shoplifting is also an Met Police priority. Issued 01 March 2026 |
Proactive activity has been stepped up to combat retail‑related crime. Increased high visibility patrols are in place to deter offenders and boost confidence among local businesses. Retailers have been provided with tailored prevention advice, and officers have reinforced the importance of reporting through Operation Retail to ensure repeat offenders are swiftly identified and robust enforcement action follows. This work directly supports the Met’s new plan, emphasising frontline policing and strengthened engagement with local businesses and the wider community. Actioned 01 June 2026 |
The word cloud below represents the issues raised by residents through their Local Matters survey. We take this into consideration along with discussions with stakeholders, ward panel meetings and conversations with the public when setting our key priorities
