South Hampstead

Your Safer Neighbourhoods Team is a group of Met police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area or 'ward', supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across London.

We regularly speak to local residents to establish what issues they may be experiencing in the area. Violence Related Priority

Reduce levels of drug ASB in the Ward.

Ward team to conduct high visibility patrols in the area in partnership with Local Authority and issue ASB warnings and CPNs to identified individuals.

Burglary

Increased reports of burglary around Compayne Gardens.

Ward team will contact victims of burglary and provide crime prevention advice. Leaflets will be distributed on the ward providing advice on how to secure homes. High visibility patrols to deter offenders.

Generic ASB

Increase in ASB in the vicinity of Abbey Road.

Ward team to conduct high visibility patrols in the area in partnership with Local Authority and issue ASB warnings and CPNs to identified individuals.
